Barbie Core Like A Grown Woman

Getting barbie core right as a grown woman is all about putting together more elevated looks. If Barbie core is your preferred style then having go-to staple pink pieces might set you up for success. This could look like having pink cardigans, dresses, shorts, and blouses on hand in your wardrobe. These pieces could be in Barbie’s iconic shade of hot pink or across the pink shade range. Having pink sets at the ready could make for a coordinated, yet effortless look. Although Barbie is known for her signature hot pink Mattel hue, don’t be afraid to mix it up and create outfits that incorporate different shades of the colour as displayed in the eponymous Barbie movie. And if you are feeling especially adventurous, how about donning a pair of hot pink platform heels?

Also, if you’re not too crazy about pink, then I feel you. Personally, I am not a fuchsia girly. It simply doesn’t look too good on me. A good option for those who are more weary of the colour pink is to pair pink items with neutral items in your outfit. For example, you could pair a pink skirt with a black top. Also, if you are generally pink phobic you could instead accessorise with the colour, still bringing your outfits a bit of a pop. We’re talking headbands, purses, stilettos, earrings, and more. Or maybe focus on one pink item to rock your outfit that day. For example, be more adventurous and opt for a pink blazer when you would normally just choose a black one. It’s all about going for sophisticated looks. If you do choose to ride on the Barbie core wave (like Ken riding on his surfboard) just know you are in good company. Plenty of women have donned this look from Judge Judy Sheindlin to Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
